Elmar Electric can install emergency backup generators for both residential and industrial customers.

We can install generators from your choice of manufacturer. The installation will be completed with all required permits and inspections.

Elmar Electric Ltd. is licensed by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA). Most electrical work done in Ontario requires a permit from the ESA. The ESA issues a permit based on a “Risk-based Oversight” (RBO) system. For each permit, ESA will assign a risk level based on who does the installation work, what the installation is, and where the installation is located. Risk levels are assigned: high-risk, medium-risk, or low risk. Elmar Electric has over 30+ years of experience and an excellent track record working with the ESA, so we can start your work quickly, complete it safely, and in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code. We arrange the permits with ESA, and if needed, any disconnects with Ontario Hydro, to ensure that your electrical project is seamless and simple.
